Our history
Dutchmed was founded in 1990 by two Dutch healthcare entrepreneurs who pioneered the distribution of medical equipment and medical supplies throughout Central Europe. Their vision was to bring innovative healthcare solutions closer to healthcare professionals by establishing local organizations staffed with dedicated product specialists and service engineers.
Over the years, Dutchmed expanded its footprint across the region and built long-term partnerships with leading international manufacturers. This growth enabled the company to support healthcare providers with a broader portfolio of medical technologies, technical services and clinical expertise.
In 2025, Dutchmed became part of Dennendonck Healthcare Group, a Dutch family office led by experienced healthcare entrepreneurs with a strong commitment to growth, innovation and long-term value creation. As part of the group, Dutchmed continues to expand its activities while remaining committed to its mission of improving healthcare through innovative medical technology, IT solutions and high-quality technical services.
